Enrique Demands Paris Saint-Germain to Sign Barcelona Player
Wednesday 17-09-2025
Spanish coach Luis Enrique has requested the Paris Saint-Germain management to sign Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo during the upcoming winter transfer window, in a deal that could reach a value of 70 million euros.

This request came based on Enrique's desire to strengthen his squad with a player he knows well from his time coaching the Spanish national team, as he considers him an important piece due to his creativity and attacking ability.

Dani Olmo is struggling with a difficult start to the season with Barcelona, having only started one match in the league against Rayo Vallecano, and coach Hans Flick has reduced his role within the team, especially with the impressive performances of Firmin Lopez, prompting the club to consider potential offers for his sale.

Although Barcelona's management still believes in his potential, injuries have affected his development, casting doubt on his future with the team.

Paris Saint-Germain sees Olmo as an opportunity to bolster their ranks with a player who has international experience, and reports confirm that Barcelona will not agree to his departure for less than 70 million euros, an amount the French club is seeking to negotiate.

This transfer could contribute to enhancing Enrique's sports project on one hand, while alleviating Barcelona's financial burden on the other, potentially repeating the scenario of the Ousmane Dembélé deal.
