Former sports coach Thaer Adnan believes that the new season of the Iraqi Stars League will witness fierce competition for the title among several teams, confirming that Al-Karma will be a tough competitor alongside Al-Shorta, Al-Zawraa, and Zakho.

He added: "Al-Karma has made a strong start and has proven that it has the elements capable of making a difference, which gives it a significant boost to continue the journey steadily."

He said: "In my opinion, Al-Shorta and Al-Zawraa are always natural candidates due to their experience and great history, and Zakho also has an organized team and a coach who knows how to handle big matches."

He added: "The presence of these four clubs at the top of the nominations will make the competition more exciting and will give the league greater technical value this season."

He concluded: "Iraqi fans will face a different season, filled with rivalry and challenges, which raises the level of the championship and makes it a focal point for viewers both Arab and Asian."
