Absence of Moroccan Ashraf Dari from Al Ahly Matches
Sunday 14-09-2025
The absence of Moroccan international Ashraf Dari from the ranks of the Egyptian Al Ahly club continues, after a muscle injury he sustained against Pyramids kept him from participating in the recent matches of the Premier League, and also deprived him of being with the Moroccan national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Niger and Zambia.

Egyptian media reports revealed that Al Ahly's medical staff is racing against time to prepare the Moroccan defender for the anticipated summit match against Zamalek on September 29, after it was confirmed that he will miss the matches preceding it against Enppi, Ceramica, and Haras El Hodoud on the 14th, 19th, and 23rd of the same month.

Medical examinations showed that Dari has a strain in the adductor muscle, which requires him to undergo an intensive therapeutic and rehabilitation program that may keep him off the field for about three weeks.

The recurring injuries that have plagued the player since his transfer to Al Ahly have raised concerns among the club's management, which has started to consider – according to the same sources – studying the future of his contract and the possibility of his departure in the upcoming period, especially since he has not provided the expected contribution since his arrival from Wydad Casablanca.
