Al-Nasr Moves to Sign a New Foreign Talent After Registering Nawaf Salem
The management of Saudi Al-Nasr Club is seeking to finalize a new deal in the coming days to add a foreign player in the category of residents for the U21 team, before the summer transfer window for this category closes on September 23rd.
The management had previously registered the Yemeni Nawaf Salem as a foreign player in the residents' list for the U21 team, in preparation for the start of the competitions scheduled for next Monday, as confirmed by the newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah".
Al-Nasr's management aims to add a new foreign name alongside Salem, to provide the Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus with the opportunity to utilize them when needed with the first football team.
The Al-Nasr management has also included the Brazilian duo Angelo Gabriel and Wesley Teixeira in the first-team list, which the Professional League Association has limited to only 25 players.
According to the regulations of the game’s federation, each team in the "Joi Elite League" U21 is allowed to register two foreign players in the residents' list, which explains the movement of Al-Nasr's management to strengthen this position.
The Al-Nasr U21 list currently consists of 17 players, with the possibility of adding three more names, as the club seeks to strengthen the team with young talents capable of serving its football future.
