Officially.. Trabzon announces the signing of Onana
The Turkish club Trabzonspor announced today, Thursday, via its official account on X platform, the signing of Cameroon international goalkeeper André Onana from Manchester United.
The club stated: "An agreement has been reached with Manchester United for the transfer of professional football player André Onana on loan until the end of the 2025-2026 season."
The club confirmed in its statement that the Cameroonian goalkeeper joined the team for free, without any loan fees.
Onana had joined Manchester United in 2023 from Inter but did not make a significant impact with the Red Devils during this period, before deciding to undertake a temporary experience in the Turkish league.
