A report has revealed that a Moroccan player has turned down a move to Chelsea during the recent transfer window.

According to what was reported by the Foot Mercato network, the London club attempted to sign player Elias Ben Sghir from Monaco.

However, after considering the matter, the player preferred to move to Bayer Leverkusen in Germany, as he would have a better chance of playing in matches.

In a similar topic, Algerian international striker Amin Gouiri rejected joining one of the big clubs on the European stage.

Journalist Santi Owanna mentioned that the player was sought after by Bayern Munich before the German club signed Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea.
