The Portuguese League awarded star Cristiano Ronaldo the The Best of All Time award as the best player in football history during the local season awards ceremony for 2024/2025.

The 40-year-old captain of the Portuguese national team continues to achieve exceptional records, having become the all-time top scorer in World Cup qualifiers across all continents, in addition to reaching 141 international goals, the most scored by a national team player in history.

Ronaldo expressed his happiness with this award in a video message, saying: "I thank the Portuguese League for this great award; it is a great honor to win something that carries the name of my country," adding: "I thank all my teammates who have helped me throughout my career and everyone who contributed to me becoming better day by day."

It is noteworthy that Ronaldo has scored 943 goals in his professional career with clubs and the national team, getting closer to achieving a unique milestone of scoring a thousand goals.
