Union Approaches Signing of Abdul Ilah Al-Amri
The Jeddah Union Club is nearing the conclusion of the deal to sign Abdul Ilah Al-Amri, a defender from Al-Nassr, before the transfer window closes today, Wednesday.
According to press reports, negotiations between Union and Al-Nassr for the transfer of Abdul Ilah Al-Amri have made significant progress in recent hours, as the defender insists on playing for the Union.
Sources have indicated that Union made two offers to acquire Al-Amri from Al-Nassr, valued at 35 million riyals and 40 million riyals, both of which were rejected; however, the third offer made today has not yet been revealed.
The sources clarified that Al-Amri did not participate in Al-Nassr's training today, Wednesday, amid anticipation regarding the resolution of his future, whether it involves moving to Union or staying at Al-Nassr.
The Union management will continue its negotiations with their counterparts at Al-Nassr until the final hours before the transfer market closes, in order to finalize the deal for Abdul Ilah Al-Amri.
