Swiss Coach Close to Training Al Ahly
Sports critic Khaled Talaat confirmed the approaching contract between Al Ahly and Swiss coach Urs Fischer.
Khaled Talaat stated on Facebook: "Swiss coach Urs Fischer, former coach of Basel, Zurich, and Union Berlin, is on the verge of training Al Ahly."
He added: "Al Ahly is turning to the Swiss school after the success of Rene Weiler, Christian Gross, and Marcel Kohler."
Al Ahly had previously announced the appointment of Emad Nassar as the team's interim manager, succeeding Jose Ribeiro, who was dismissed due to poor results.
