Media figure Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed that the fate of Ahmed Abdelkader, Al Ahly player, is close to being decided.

Al-Ghandour stated on the program "Stadium Al-Mahwar" that the player has recently returned to participate in team training and also played in the friendly match that Al Ahly held yesterday evening, Tuesday, against the youth team.

He confirmed that Walid Salah El-Din, the football director at Al Ahly, decided to hold a meeting with the player in the coming days to finalize his situation with the team.

Al-Ghandour added that Abdelkader has received offers from Libyan clubs to join them.

He concluded that the Al Ahly management wishes to sell the player during the upcoming winter transfer window if renewal negotiations fail, to avoid his free departure at the end of his contract.
