Spain U21 Team Wins Against Kosovo

The Spain U21 team achieved an important victory against their Kosovo counterpart with a score of 3-1, in the match held on Tuesday evening in the city of Pristina, as part of the qualifiers for the 2027 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.

The match was preceded by tense atmospheres after the Spanish Football Federation used the phrase "Kosovo territories" instead of "Kosovo" in its promotional campaign, which was considered a diminishment of the sovereignty of the country that Madrid does not recognize its independence. The Kosovo federation responded by publishing a sarcastic promotional design referring to the Spanish team as "Andalusia".

On the field, the Spaniards took an early lead through Joel Roca in the 11th minute, before Arianit Hasani equalized for the hosts in the 22nd minute. In the second half, substitute Iker Bravo sealed the result by scoring the go-ahead goal in the 70th minute, while Adrian Ninio added the third goal in the final minute of the match.

With this result, the Spain team raised its tally to six points from two matches to top its group, trailing Finland on goal difference, while Kosovo's tally remained at one point, placing them at the bottom of the standings and complicating their task in the qualifiers.
