The Norwegian national team achieved a historic victory over their counterpart Moldova with a score of 11-1 in the sixth round of the European qualifiers for the World Cup.

Norway took the lead through Felix Mehre in the 6th minute, followed by Erling Haaland scoring a hat-trick in the 11th, 36th, and 43rd minutes.

In the 45+1 minute, Martin Ødegaard scored the fifth goal, while Erling Haaland netted the sixth goal, and Thilo Asgard scored the seventh in the 68th minute.

Leo Østigard scored Moldova's only goal by mistake into his own net, and then Thilo Asgard scored two more goals in the 76th and 78th minutes. Erling Haaland scored the tenth goal in the 83rd minute, and Asgard completed the scoring with the eleventh goal in the 90+2 minute.

This victory raised the Norwegian team's points to 15 at the top of the standings, while Moldova remained at 0 points in fifth and last place.
