Media figure Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed that Marwan Attia, the star of Al Ahly, has requested from Hossam Hassan, the head coach of the national team, to participate against Burkina Faso.

The Egyptian national team will face its counterpart from Burkina Faso tomorrow, Tuesday, in the eighth round of the African qualifiers for the World Cup.

Al-Ghandour stated on the program "Stadium Al-Mihr" that Hossam Hassan asked Marwan Attia to be fully focused during training with the psychological readiness to play the match, and the final decision of the head coach regarding Marwan Attia's participation will be determined in the coming hours, specifically during the final training session.

He added: "Hossam Hassan spoke personally with the trio Nabil Dunga, Ahmed Nabil Koka, and Mahmoud Saber, and requested them to be responsible in case they are called upon against Burkina Faso, and this will be determined if Mohannad Lashin is not ready."
