Monday.. Al Hilal Welcomes Turkish International Yusuf Akçayışık
Monday 08-09-2025
Al Hilal Club is preparing to welcome Turkish international Yusuf Akçayışık, the first team football defender, in Riyadh on Monday, after completing his commitments with the national team in the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

Al Hilal signed Akçayışık, who is 22 years old, during the summer transfer period from the Turkish club Fenerbahçe, but his joining the team was delayed due to his participation in matches with the Turkish national team against Georgia and Spain in the continental qualifiers.

Despite being called up to the national team, Akçayışık did not participate in the two matches, as Italian coach Vincenzo Montella decided to exclude him from the match roster, allowing him to quickly focus on Al Hilal's training.

Akçayışık is considered the third foreign signing for Al Hilal this summer, following French Theo Hernandez, the former left-back of AC Milan, and Uruguayan Darwin Núñez, the former Liverpool forward.

The coaching staff of Al Hilal hopes to integrate the player quickly into the team’s starting lineup, especially after strengthening the defense with a young player known for his speed and tactical flexibility, as confirmed by sports sources.

Al Hilal fans are looking forward to seeing Akçayışık contribute to strengthening the defense with the start of the new season, especially after the intensive preparations the team is undergoing during the current FIFA break.
