Recent media sources revealed that Al Ahly has entered into strong discussions to sign Ibrahim Adel, the midfielder from Al Jazira in the UAE.

Ibrahim Adel had joined Al Jazira from Pyramids during the current summer transfer window, noting that the player has been a point of interest for Al Ahly in every transfer period.

According to reports, Ibrahim Adel informed some close associates during the Egyptian national team's camp that there has been no communication with Al Ahly officials and that his experience with Al Jazira is not merely a stopover to move to another club.

The player indicated in his remarks at the camp that it is illogical to discuss his return to the Egyptian league through Al Ahly just two rounds into the start of the UAE league.

He confirmed that he wants to make a name for himself with Al Jazira before considering his next step, whether moving to another Gulf club, pursuing a European professional experience, or even returning to Egypt.
