Mamdouh Hamdi El-Wensh, the defender of Zamalek Club, apologized to the fans of the White Castle for his performance in the last match against Wadi Degla in the league.

El-Wensh wrote on his Facebook account: "First, I thank God for my return and representing the Egyptian national team after a very difficult period in my life, and thanks to God and the people who love me and always support me in tough times."

He added: "Representing the Egyptian national team in any form is a great honor for anyone who carries the name of Egypt in various fields."

He continued: "Zamalek Club and Zamalek fans, in the last match, I was a major reason for the team to end up with a negative result due to a mistake that I still cannot forgive myself for, as it is not part of my personal qualities or my character to reach such a level of anger, but it was God's will and what He willed happened."

He added: "I certainly accept the severe punishment that the club has imposed on me, and I fully understand that, and I promise you that the mistake will not be repeated."

He concluded: "With God's will and your continuous support, I will never hold back a drop of sweat for this great entity; the apology is a duty, and I hope for your forgiveness."
