The season of the Iraqi Stars League for the 2025-2026 season starts on September 13, and the Iraqi Football Association announced the official dates for the first round matches.
On the first day of the first round, Al-Naqil Baghdad will face Diyala at the Ahmed Rady Stadium at 6 PM, while Al-Student will meet Zakho at the International City Stadium at 8:30 PM, and the first day's matches will conclude with a game between Al-Kahraba and Nawruz at Nawruz Stadium at 8:30 PM.
On the second day of the first round, Naft Maysan will face Al-Minaa at Maysan Olympic Stadium at 6 PM, and Al-Qasim will meet Al-Naft at Najaf International Stadium at the same time, while the last match will see Duhok hosting Al-Karma at 8:30 PM.
The matches on the third and final day will see Mosul visiting Al-Gharaf, Erbil hosting Najaf, and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya facing Al-Karkh.
