Achraf Dari Returns to Cairo After Injury in Morocco Camp
Saturday 06-09-2025
Moroccan international Achraf Dari, defender of Egyptian club Al Ahly, returned to Cairo on Saturday evening after leaving the Moroccan national team camp due to an injury that kept him from participating in the current international break, according to reports.

The reports denied the rumors about the player's desire to remain with the national team until the end of the break, clarifying that Dari initially requested to stay until the match against Niger to celebrate the qualification for the 2026 World Cup, before the injury determined his situation.

Medical reports from the 'Atlas Lions' medical staff revealed that the player is suffering from a muscle strain in the adductor muscle, an injury that requires a treatment and rehabilitation period of about two weeks.

It is expected that Dari will undergo a special treatment program under the supervision of Al Ahly's medical team upon his return, in preparation for his recovery before the team's upcoming commitments, particularly the match against Enppi on September 14 in the Egyptian Premier League.

It is noteworthy that the Moroccan national team has officially secured its qualification for the 2026 World Cup after a significant victory over Niger (5-0), before heading to Zambia to face its team on Monday as part of the qualifiers.
