Paris Saint-Germain received a strong shock after confirming the absence of French star Ousmane Dembélé from the match against Atalanta in the team's opening journey in the Champions League, in addition to his absence from the anticipated Clasico against Marseille in Ligue 1.

According to journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Dembélé's absence is estimated to be around 6 weeks due to the injury he sustained recently while participating with the French national team.

Hawkins also noted that Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Désiré Doué will also not be available for the European match against Atalanta, after sustaining an injury in the match between France and Ukraine, which deals a double blow to coach Luis Enrique's plans.

Some other media reports mentioned that Doué's absence will range between 3 to 4 weeks.

Based on the absence duration of the duo, they will not be able to participate in the upcoming match against FC Barcelona in the Champions League.
