Durgou expresses his shock at Hojlund's departure from Manchester United
Hojlund moved to Italian club Napoli on the last day of the transfer window, on loan, with a clause obligating Napoli to purchase the player permanently if they qualify for the Champions League. The total value of the deal, including loan fees, is estimated at around £43 million.
Durgou said in his statements: "That's football; you never know when it's your turn to leave. We knew Christian Eriksen would leave, but it was shocking that Rasmus left too."
He added: "I talked to him a lot during that time, and I felt that things were heading towards his departure."
Durgou concluded his remarks by saying: "I hope we meet again with the national team at every upcoming gathering."
