The Saudi newspaper "Asharq Al-Awsat" reported that Saudi Club Al-Ittihad has strongly entered the race to sign Mishal Al-Elaili, a player from Al-Ettifaq and the Saudi national team under 23 years old.
Al-Qadisiyah is competing with Al-Ittihad to acquire the player during the current summer transfer window, having offered 30 million riyals for his contract.
The player is considered one of the most prominent rising Saudi talents and was an old target for Saudi Club Al-Ahli.
