Officially.. Yaissle stays at Al Ahli until 2027
The Saudi Al Ahli Club announced today, Thursday, the renewal of the contract of German coach Matthias Yaissle for the first team, allowing him to remain at the helm of the coaching staff for two more seasons.
According to Al Ahli's official account, Matthias Yaissle will continue as the coach of the first football team until 2027.
Al Ahli's account shared a video clip featuring moments of the coach on the night of winning the 2025 Asian Champions League title.
The club commented on the video: "Asia has written his glory.. and the fans chanted his name.. Matthias, Al Ahli renews his contract."
The Al Ahli administration engaged in lengthy negotiations with Yaissle to renew his contract, which ends next summer, and to sign a new contract that extends for two seasons, until 2027.
