The English club Tottenham Hotspur announced today, Thursday, in an official statement, that Daniel Levy has resigned from his position as the club's CEO after nearly a quarter of a century of leading the club.

The club confirmed in its statement that Tottenham has undergone a significant transformation during Levy's tenure, becoming one of the world's leading clubs, participating in European competitions in 18 of the last 20 seasons, along with massive investments in the academy, players, and infrastructure, including the establishment of a world-class stadium and a modern training center.

The statement also highlighted the sporting successes achieved by the team during this period, most notably recently winning the UEFA Europa League title.

As part of the leadership transition plan, the club appointed Vinai Venkatesham as the CEO, Thomas Frank as the head coach of the men's first team, and Martin as the coach of the women's team, in addition to Peter Charington joining the board to take on the role of new non-executive chairman.

Levy said: "I am extremely proud of what I have achieved with the executive team and all the club's staff. We have built this club to become a global force competing at the highest levels, and most importantly, we have created a great community. I thank the fans who have supported me throughout these years, and despite the challenges, we have made significant progress, and I will always remain a fan and supporter of this club."

For his part, Peter Charington said: "I am honored to take on the role of non-executive chairman of this exceptional club. We recognize that there have been significant changes in recent months, but our goal is to achieve stability and empower talents within the club under Vinai and his executive team."

The statement confirmed that the ownership structure and shareholders of the club have not changed.
