Union Eyes Talent from Russian Zenit

Reports have revealed the Union Club's movements towards signing Brazilian winger Pedro, a player from Russian Zenit, as part of its efforts to strengthen the attacking line during the current summer transfer window.

Pedro, who is 19 years old, is considered one of the most prominent rising talents in the Russian league, playing as a left winger and primarily relying on his right foot, which gives him diverse attacking flexibility.

The young player participated in 37 official matches last season with Zenit, scoring five goals and providing eight assists, clearly indicating his ability to contribute effectively to the attack.

His statistics also showed 29 shots, 10 of which were on target, in addition to creating nine clear chances and 35 key passes, reflecting his danger in building attacking play and creating opportunities for his teammates.

Pedro also excelled in individual dribbling with 39 successful dribbles, alongside a passing accuracy of 87% from a total of 653 passes, as well as 35 successful long balls with a success rate of 70%.

Defensively, the Brazilian winger contributed with 24 successful tackles and 16 interceptions, along with 11 aerial duels won, demonstrating tactical commitment alongside his attacking output.

Pedro received an overall rating of 7 out of 10 during the season, reflecting his consistent performance with Zenit, making him an attractive option for Union management to reinforce the team in preparation for upcoming challenges.
