Thursday 04-09-2025
The duo Hassan Kaddash and Serbian Predrag Rajkovic, players of Al-Ittihad team, are on the verge of returning to group training after making significant progress in their rehabilitation program, according to special sources for 'Al-Riyadiyah'.

The injured players continued their treatment program during the team's four-day break following the big victory over Al-Akhidood with a score of 5-2 in the opening round of the Roshen Saudi League.

Coach Laurent Blanc is missing eight key players during the international break, including Hossam Aouar and Mario Mitaj with their national teams, in addition to five players from the Saudi national team, and Hamid Al-Shanqiti with the under-20 national team.

Rajkovic underwent delicate surgery at the end of last season to treat a tear in the tendon near the right quadriceps, while Kaddash suffered an injury to his hamstring while participating with the Saudi national team in the Gold Cup in America.

Al-Ittihad is preparing to resume its matches against Al-Fateh on September 12 at the Al-Inma Stadium in Jeddah, as part of the second round of the Roshen Professional League.

The Jeddah team occupies second place in the standings with three points, equal to the leader Al-Nassr, but with a goal difference after their big win over Al-Akhidood in the first round.
