The management of Al-Qadisiyah Club has made its decision regarding the Spanish winger Iker Almena, officially agreeing to loan him to Croatian club Hajduk Split for one season, according to exclusive sources for "Al-Riyadiyah".

The sources indicated that the loan extends for a full year, after which the player will return to the Eastern team, giving him the opportunity to gain new European experience during his professional career.

Almena, who is 21 years old, participated in 22 matches with Al-Qadisiyah last season across all competitions, during which he succeeded in assisting one goal, without being able to score any personal goals.

The player occupies the right winger position and is considered one of the young talents relied upon by the team, having been born on May 4, 2004.

Almena began his football career with Cornellà in 2019, then moved to Java in 2020, before having a short stint with Can Vidalet in 2022.

The player then progressed through the ranks of Girona in Spain from 2023 until he reached the first team, before transferring last summer to Al-Qadisiyah, now embarking on a new experience in the Croatian league with Hajduk Split.
