Ibrahim Diara Enters Final Stage of Recovery
Thursday 04-09-2025
The Malian Ibrahim Diara, a young player for FC Barcelona, is close to returning to the pitch after suffering a hamstring injury during the summer preparation period under coach Hans Flick, which kept him from joining the team's Asian tour.

Diara, who began preparations on July 14 with several academy players, showed remarkable physical readiness after adhering to a special training program during his vacation, before suffering a thigh injury that sidelined him for about two months.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Sport", the player has currently entered the final stage of the recovery process, as he has begun training on the grass at the Joan Gamper Sports City, and he is expected to gradually join team training in the coming days, without rushing his official return, which is anticipated by the end of September.

Diara has a strong physique despite his young age of 18, but his playing style, which is based on strength and bursts of speed, requires adherence to a special rehabilitation program that the club has implemented since his arrival due to some knee pain and a slight weight increase.

In Barcelona, Diara is viewed as one of the promising names, and he is expected to play an important role this season after graduating from the youth teams and preparing to break into the first team.
