Police Passes Asian Licensing Standards
The Licensing Committee of the Iraqi Football Association visited the Police Club headquarters on Wednesday to directly review the administrative and financial files related to licensing requirements, as part of monitoring the clubs' compliance with the standards set by the Asian Football Confederation, which are a prerequisite for teams' participation in upcoming local and continental tournaments.
During the visit, the club officials presented all official files to the committee, which included administrative, financial, and organizational aspects. The committee praised the accuracy of work and good organization, confirming that the files submitted by the Police Club meet all requirements and standards, reflecting the club management's commitment to applying the best institutional practices.
The delegation from the Licensing Committee included: Ammar Abdul Rahman, Director of the Licensing Department, Mustafa Khaled, Osama Riyad, and Yahya Nizar, along with the media spokesperson for the Licensing Department, Bilal Zaki.
From the club's side, the meeting was attended by: Tahseen Al-Yasiri, the financial secretary, Ali Sawan, the Director of Public Relations, and Mesar Rashid, the Director of Accounts. The club representatives confirmed their commitment to preparing all necessary requirements and providing the necessary facilities for the visiting delegation, ensuring smooth workflow.
This step comes at a time when the Police Club is preparing to represent Iraqi football in the upcoming competitions, whether in the Iraqi Stars League or in the AFC Champions League for elite teams, as the licensing file is viewed as a pivotal part in enhancing the club's status at the continental level and ensuring its readiness to compete at the highest levels.
