Ibrahim Al-Qasim Respects the Decision of the Football Federation

Ibrahim Al-Qasim, the Secretary-General of the Saudi Football Federation, spoke about the federation's decision to dismiss him from his position following the events surrounding the Saudi Super Cup.

Al-Qasim wrote on his account on the 'X' platform: "Today, I leave the Saudi Football Federation proud of all that I have accomplished with my colleagues, carrying love, appreciation, and pride for everyone without exception."

He added: "Respecting and with an open heart to the decision of the Board of Directors, I affirm my commitment to applying the provisions of the federation's bylaws, which I will continue to support just like you, for its successes and its journey towards achieving the objectives of our beloved nation's vision."

He continued: "I value, with a pen of loyalty, the great support I received from the Minister of Sports, His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, throughout my journey, and to the Board of Directors led by my brother Yasser Al-Mashel for the precious trust bestowed upon me to serve football in our beloved kingdom and to serve all elements and members of Saudi football, dear and loyal."

He concluded: "I wish the best of luck to our national team in qualifying for the World Cup, and to the youth and junior teams in their upcoming participation in the World Cups for youth and juniors, and for everyone more happiness and success."
