Italian newspaper "Tuttosport" revealed on Wednesday that AC Milan's management informed their player of Trabzonspor's interest in his services, with Turkish team officials ready to cover his entire annual salary, which is close to 5.1 million euros.

Bennacer (27 years old), who is under contract with Milan until the summer of 2027, responded to the transfer proposal by expressing his desire to wait before making a final decision, especially since the transfer market in Turkey remains open until September 12, unlike Italy, which closed its doors last Monday.

The newspaper noted that the high value of the player's contract was a reason for several European clubs, including French Olympique Marseille, to refrain from signing him, as they proposed to loan the player until the summer of 2026 but found it difficult to cover his substantial salary.
