Trabzonspor is working intensively to reach an agreement with AC Milan for Algerian midfielder Ismael Bennacer before the summer transfer window closes in Turkey, which is scheduled for September 12.

Despite the end of the transfer period in the Italian league, Italian clubs can still sell their players to clubs abroad, and Turkey is one of the few markets that remains open. Reports from Italy and Turkey indicate that Trabzonspor is strongly pursuing the Algerian international player.

From Milan's side, the club does not oppose Bennacer's departure if a suitable offer is received, especially since he is not part of coach Massimiliano Allegri's plans for the current season, with several options in midfield such as Luka Modric, Youssef Fofana, and Ardon Jashari.

At the same time, Bennacer has not yet clarified his position on the Turkish offer, as he has not made any official comments regarding the possibility of moving to the Turkish league in the coming days.
