Mikaili: Hossam Hassan is the Best Fit to Coach the Egyptian National Team
The Brazilian Rogério Mikaili, former head coach of the Egyptian Olympic team, praised Hossam Hassan, the head coach of the Egyptian national team, confirming that he is the best to lead the senior team.
Mikaili said on ON channel: "I have great confidence in the Egyptian national team; it is not just a name but a team of stars, and Egyptian football has advanced significantly recently, especially with Mohamed Salah, Marmoush, and Trezeguet."
He added: "The current team of the Egyptian national team is very strong, and Egypt has everything it needs to achieve victory and qualify for the World Cup."
He continued: "Of course, I definitely hope to coach the senior Egyptian national team, but at the moment, I prefer not to talk about this matter."
He added: "I see that Hossam Hassan is capable of taking the Egyptian national team to the place it deserves, and he is performing well with the Pharaohs, and I support him from my position here."
He concluded: "In my opinion, Hossam Hassan is the most suitable at the moment to lead the Egyptian national team."
