Al-Fateh Enters the Race to Sign Abderrazak Hamdallah
The management of Al-Fateh Club has initiated communications with Al-Shabab in recent days to explore the possibility of signing Moroccan striker Abderrazak Hamdallah, amid the team's efforts to strengthen their attacking line before the closure of the ongoing summer transfer market.
Sources revealed to "Al-Riyadiyah" that Hamdallah has expressed a clear desire to leave Al-Shabab and embark on a new experience within the Roshen League, making Al-Fateh's chances of acquiring his services appear strong before the end of the "mercato".
The sources indicated that Al-Taawun is closely monitoring the situation and may officially enter the race to sign the veteran striker, opening the door to intense competition among clubs interested in acquiring him.
Intensive negotiations are currently underway between Al-Fateh officials and their counterparts at Al-Shabab to find a mutually agreeable formula regarding the player's substantial salary, as he earns eight million euros in the final remaining season of his contract.
Hamdallah joined Al-Shabab last summer from Al-Ittihad on a contract that extends for two seasons, scoring 24 goals with the capital team in the past season, thus confirming his high scoring value.
It is worth noting that a previous agreement was made between Al-Ittihad and Al-Shabab in July 2024, stipulating that the Jeddah club would bear four million euros of Hamdallah's contract value, while Al-Shabab would pay the same amount in the first season, taking on the full value for the second season.
