Italian media reports indicate that Turkish club Fenerbahçe has made an official contract offer to Nigerian star Ademola Lookman, the Atalanta striker, in an attempt to sign him during the ongoing summer transfer window in Turkey, which lasts until September 12.

Despite the official offer, reports confirm that Fenerbahçe currently has no agreement with either the player or his club Atalanta regarding the deal.

Lookman remains part of Atalanta after the transfer market in Italy closed on Monday evening, despite having submitted a formal transfer request earlier in the summer, after the club rejected an offer from Inter Milan valued at 45 million euros.

Reports have confirmed that both Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray are still interested in signing the Nigerian international, taking advantage of the ongoing registration period in the Turkish league.

According to 'Football Italia', Fenerbahçe has made a four-year offer, with an annual salary reaching 6 million euros, in an attempt to persuade the player to join the team.

As of now, no official agreement has been reached between the three parties, and everyone is awaiting developments in the negotiations in the coming days before the closure of the Turkish transfer market.
