Aston Villa Football Club has officially announced the signing of player Harvey Elliot from Liverpool, on a one-season loan with an obligation to purchase based on the number of appearances.
The 22-year-old player is considered one of the most prominent English talents in the attacking midfield position, having had a successful career with Liverpool, winning two Premier League titles, the Club World Cup, the EFL Cup, in addition to two FA Cup titles.
Internationally, Elliot shone with the England U21 team, leading the team to victory in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship this summer, and was awarded the tournament's best player.
This deal represents a strong addition to Unai Emery's squad, especially with the club's aspirations to compete for European spots during the new season.
