Werder Bremen Officially Signs Bonifas
The German club Werder Bremen officially announced the signing of Nigerian striker Victor Bonifas from Bayer Leverkusen on the last day of the summer transfer window.
According to the German club, the Nigerian striker will join the team on loan for one season, until the summer of 2026.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano mentioned that Bremen will cover part of the player's salary during the loan period, in a deal aimed at strengthening the attack this season.
Bonifas was close to transferring to AC Milan during the current transfer window, before the Rossoneri management backed out of completing the deal due to doubts about the condition of his knee following medical examinations.
