The Italian club Napoli announced on its official website that it has signed Macedonian player Elif Elmas, coming from German club Leipzig, on loan with an option to purchase the contract at the end of the season.

Elmas is a well-known name among Napoli fans, having previously played for the team since 2019, during which he participated in 189 matches and scored 19 goals. He played a significant role in winning the Coppa Italia and the Serie A title in the 2022/2023 season.

The 24-year-old player grew up in the Rabotnicki academy before moving to Red Star, and then he made a name for himself with Turkish club Fenerbahçe, from where he transferred to Napoli for his first experience in Serie A.

Elmas returns to wear the Napoli jersey after a brief stint with Leipzig, starting a new chapter with the southern team aspiring to return to the podium.
