Romano indicated via his account on X platform that the agreement was made several weeks ago for a long-term contract, before being finalized after the departure of Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson to Fenerbahçe.

The trusted journalist mentioned that the Italian goalkeeper has already undergone medical examinations this afternoon in Italy, and he is set to join Manchester City after the international break.
