Lamine Yamal, the young star of Barcelona, expressed his disappointment after the team drew against Rayo Vallecano with a score of 1-1 in the match that took place at the Teresa Rivero Stadium, as part of the third round of the Spanish league.

Yamal scored Barcelona's only goal from a penalty in the first half, while the equalizer for Rayo Vallecano came from Fran Pérez in the 67th minute.

Yamal said: "In the end, we are playing at a difficult stadium, we lacked enthusiasm, just like in the other matches at the beginning of the season, we need to learn from this, and come back after the break playing with the same enthusiasm we had last season."

Regarding the goal the team conceded from a set piece, he explained: "Rayo's goal came from a corner, we weren't communicating among ourselves, and no one informed that there was a player alone in the area, we need to learn from these moments."

He commented on Rayo Vallecano's attempts to penetrate Barcelona's defense from the back, saying: "Yes, they were working to penetrate behind our defense, but the draw was not due to these balls, the goal came from a set piece, and we need to continue playing according to our style until the end."

About his execution of the penalty, Yamal said: "I got the penalty and felt confident to take it, I am always ready to help the team."
