Zizo Sends a Message to Al Ahly Fans

Ahmed Sayed Zizo, the star of Al Ahly club, sent a special apology message to the fans of the team regarding the poor results and performance in the recent period, which led to the dismissal of the coaching staff led by Spanish coach Jose Ribeiro.

Zizo said in his message to Al Ahly fans: "I know this is a time for those who rejoice in our misfortune, especially since such opportunities do not come often and will not be repeated. Therefore, an apology is our duty; we all felt guilty and negligent towards you in the recent results that did not meet your aspirations and do not befit the stature of our great club. We have fallen short first towards ourselves, and then towards you, who have never held back your support and loyalty."

He added: "I admit that what has been presented does not befit the spirit of Al Ahly nor your glorious history, and what has happened has left a deep wound in our hearts as it has left pain and anger in yours. However, great teams are not measured by the setbacks they face, but by their ability to rise again, and this club has never known surrender."

Zizo promised Al Ahly fans that there would be no negligence in the upcoming phase, saying: "I promise you that this negligence will not be repeated, and the upcoming phase will be a practical response that befits you and restores Al Ahly to its natural position at the top, competing for every championship, a source of pride always and forever."

He concluded: "Wearing the Al Ahly jersey is a great trust, and I swear to exert all my effort and sweat to be worthy of this trust, and to fulfill my duty towards you, as you are the support and backing in all circumstances. We shall meet, God willing, at the end of the year as we celebrate all the championships."
