The Spanish coach José Ribeiro commented on his team's loss to Pyramids in the league.

Pyramids defeated Al Ahly 2-0 in a match held on Saturday evening as part of the fifth round of the Nile League.

Ribeiro said in the press conference after the match: "Pyramids' early goal affected the players' performance, and the circumstances are very difficult; there was a state of tension, and we dealt with it while we were unprepared."

He added: "With time, there will be an opportunity; we were better in the first half, but there were no chances in the second half and we lost our balance, as it was the worst today."

He continued: "We have played 4 matches and collected 5 points; we need time and we are now focused on that. Our role is to help the team achieve victory and fulfill the fans' ambitions."

He clarified: "Working at Al Ahly is extremely difficult and not easy; I respect everyone, including the critics, and I know that the fans want victory."

He concluded: "We are the first ones who are upset, and I have no doubt that Al Ahly's performance will improve in the coming period."
