The management of Al-Ettifaq Club rejected an official offer submitted by Al-Qadisiyah, which amounted to 30 million riyals, in order to secure the services of the Saudi U-23 national team player, Mishal Al-Alaileh.

Informed sources confirmed that Al-Ettifaq's stance came as a result of the management and coaching staff's commitment to the young player, as they see him as one of the promising talents capable of providing a strong addition to the team during the upcoming season.

Al-Alaileh is considered one of the most prominent emerging Saudi talents, enjoying the confidence of the coaches within the club, and is expected to be one of the key players in the lineup during the next phase, which has increased the club's eagerness to keep him.

The movements to sign the player come amid significant activity in the summer transfer market, especially after Al-Nassr recently succeeded in completing the transfer of Saad Al-Nasser from Al-Taawoun, prompting several clubs to search for outstanding young names.

Information revealed that Al-Qadisiyah was not the only club interested in Al-Alaileh's services, as other clubs expressed their desire to negotiate with Al-Ettifaq; however, the management of the Eastern club remained firm in its decision to not let go of the player.

Thus, Al-Ettifaq continues its policy of retaining its talented young players as part of its plans to build a team capable of competing locally and continentally in the coming years, relying on promising talents alongside experienced players.
