
Press Conference Reveals Final Report Documenting 123 Years of Saudi Football History
The Saudi football history documentation project team is preparing to hold a press conference on Sunday evening at the Saudi Football Federation headquarters in Riyadh, to announce the final report covering the period from 1902 to 2025.
The conference will provide a detailed explanation of the research efforts and methodology followed by the team, where data was collected, analyzed, and verified from local and international sources, to document the Saudi football journey in a comprehensive record that preserves the legacy of the game for future generations.
The presentation will also include a review of the main themes included in the final report, covering the scientific foundations and standards adopted by the general assembly, along with highlighting the achievements of clubs and national teams over the past 123 years.
The President of the Saudi Football Federation, Yasser bin Hassan Al-Mashel, received the official copy of the report in the presence of board members, after completing all the necessary regulatory procedures for the official and final approval of the project.
The electronic version of the report is scheduled to be published on the official website of the Saudi Federation tomorrow, Sunday, allowing fans and interested parties to access comprehensive details of the history of football in the Kingdom.
The project is considered one of the most prominent initiatives led by the Saudi Federation in collaboration with the International Football Federation (FIFA) through the FIFA Museum, in addition to partnerships with prominent national entities such as the Ministry of Sports, the Broadcasting and Television Authority, the King Abdulaziz Foundation, and the Saudi Professional League.
