In the 55th minute, the match was halted after fans in the area behind Alavés' goal informed referee Víctor García about an emergency situation. No immediate action was taken by the referee despite several requests from the crowd, but the situation was noted after a foul on player Hanko, leading the referee to decide to stop the match.

After the stoppage, the medical team intervened promptly to treat the injured spectator, and in the 67th minute, the spectator was successfully evacuated, allowing the match to resume amidst warm applause from the crowd in the stadium.

The referee resumed the match after more than ten minutes of stoppage, after confirming that the spectator had received the necessary care.
