
CAF Proposes to Hold African Super Cup in Cairo
Sources have confirmed that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) is considering holding the African Super Cup in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, next October, between Pyramids and Moroccan club RS Berkane.
The CAF executive committee held a meeting in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, on Saturday, where several points on their agenda were discussed, including a formal proposal regarding the date for the 2025 African Super Cup match.
According to the sources, the proposed dates for the African Super Cup in Cairo are either October 18 or 19 at the Cairo International Stadium.
A final decision regarding the date for the Super Cup final, which will feature RS Berkane, the winner of the CAF Confederation Cup, and Egyptian club Pyramids, the winner of the CAF Champions League, is expected soon.
