Magdy Abdel-Aaty, the coach of Modern Sport, confirmed that he dreams of coaching Al Ahly or Zamalek in the future.

He said during the program "Stars of the Nile League" on "On Sport FM": "The feeling of coaching Al Ahly or Zamalek is different and a dream for any Egyptian, Arab, or African coach due to the vast popularity and fan base that both enjoy."

He added: "The presence of foreign coaches has not overshadowed the national coach, because your work speaks for you regardless of your nationality, so I hope that the next foreign coach in the Egyptian league will be an addition to us and not just a name."

He continued: "Coaching the Egyptian national team is a big dream and an honor for any technical manager. I wish Captain Hossam Hassan success in the Africa Cup of Nations, and God willing, we will qualify for the World Cup comfortably."

He concluded his remarks: "I do not accept the position of the second man with any coach, even if it is with the Egyptian national team. I have taken on the responsibility of five clubs in the Premier League and succeeded in achieving promotion to the Premier League three times, and I have extensive experience that qualifies me to be a head coach."
