FIFA Includes 21 Saudi Clubs on the List of Players Registration Ban
Saturday 30-08-2025
The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) has issued its updated list of Saudi clubs prohibited from registering players, which includes 21 clubs, with Damak being the only one from the Roshan League after two decisions were made against it on August 28.

It has been decided to ban Damak from registration for three consecutive transfer periods for each decision, while the list includes other clubs such as Bisha, Al-Shualla, Ahad, Al-Najoom, Al-Taraji, Al-Raed, Al-Kawkab, Al-Taee, Al-Batin, Al-Wahda, and Al-Ain.

Most of the decisions stemmed from various financial and administrative issues, where FIFA issued rulings against these clubs due to accumulated dues or regulatory violations.

The most affected club was Ahad, which faced ten consecutive suspension decisions over the course of a year, reflecting the scale of the escalating crises faced by the club.

Al-Shualla came second with six decisions, while both Al-Taraji and Bisha recorded five decisions, highlighting the significant financial and administrative pressures on the less stable Saudi clubs.

This international classification underscores the necessity for local administrations to intervene to resolve financial and administrative disputes, ensuring that these clubs can participate normally in the upcoming transfer market.
