Crucial hours are expected at Al Ahli Saudi Club, where Brazilian Matheus Johnzalfis, winger of Flamengo, is set to officially sign his transfer contract after successfully passing the recent medical examination.

Special sources informed 'Al Riyadiyah' that the Al Ahli management reached a final agreement with Flamengo to acquire the player during the current summer transfer window.

The sources mentioned that the deal is valued at eight and a half million euros for the purchase of 80% of the player's rights, with a contract signed for two seasons, in addition to a third season that can be extended.

Johnzalfis will receive an annual salary of one million and nine hundred thousand euros, and he will be registered among the list of foreign professional players born in 2004 and above, according to the local regulations of the club.

The new executive committee of Al Ahli held several meetings with German coach Matthias Jaissle to determine the team's needs and select the appropriate player for the winger position, in line with the team's plan.

A video conference was also held between the coach and some players, including Johnzalfis and his agent, to discuss the team's strategy and the technical plan that will be adopted for the upcoming season.
