Al-Hilal achieved an important victory over Riyadh with a score of 2-0 in the match that took place on Friday evening at the "Kingdom Arena" as part of the first round of the new season of the Saudi Roshan League.

The scoring was opened by Mutaab Al-Harbi for Al-Hilal in the 22nd minute after a brilliant pass from Salem Al-Dosari, before the Brazilian Malcolm added the second goal in the third minute of stoppage time in the first half.

The match saw several substitutions from Inzaghi, the coach of Al-Hilal, as he brought on both Abdullah Al-Hamdan and Abdullah Radeef in the second half, along with introducing Mohammed Kanno in place of Nasser Al-Dosari.

On the other hand, the Riyadh team attempted to return to the match through offensive substitutions, bringing on Teddy Oko and Khalil Al-Absi, but their efforts were met with the solid defense of Al-Hilal and goalkeeper Yassine Bono.

Statistics showed Al-Hilal's dominance with a possession rate of 63%, compared to 37% for Riyadh, while the leader attempted 15 shots on goal compared to only 3 attempts from their opponent.

With this victory, Al-Hilal begins its journey in the Roshan League with three valuable points, while Riyadh awaits significant work from their coach to rectify mistakes before the next round.
