Sports critic Ihab Al-Khatib revealed the position of Jose Ribeiro regarding leaving his position as the head coach of Al Ahly in the event of losing against Pyramids tomorrow.

Al Ahly will face Pyramids tomorrow, Saturday, in the fifth round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Al-Khatib said on the program "Al-La'eeb": "The Pyramids match is difficult and strong, and what concerns you about the match is that Pyramids is underperforming, and Al Ahly must deal with Pyramids strongly to continue on the right path. The match is tough, and I believe Al Ahly has the upper hand. The players are motivated, ready, and prepared, and the team opens up the field with you and does not just crowd in the 18-yard box; this makes the performance easier and more enjoyable."

He added: "How can the head coach of Al Ahly leave when this talk is not present at Al Ahly, and they do not deal with it in bits? There are no slogans at Al Ahly, and we do not mix World Cup matches with league matches. There is no team in Egypt that performs the same way Al Ahly does in the World Cup."
